This is a cute local ethnic grocer in the traditional sense. The selection of Brazilian products is expansive. I purchased lovely produce and staples. There is a large butcher shop for meat eaters.
Finally found a grocery store that wasn't stop and shop and sold ACTUAL ETHIC FOOD PRODUCTS, there is a bakery, a deli and butcher in the back, produce in the front. They even sell Goya products! Not to mention it was SO clean inside there is a language barrier between some employees but everyone is very helpful! I'm so happy I stopped into this store
This place has almost anything you will need from Brazil. I have found products that i wasn't able to find anywhere else in Massachusetts. The employees are very friendly and helpful at all times. The only downside for this place is the parking lot. The parking lot is very difficult to park and to exit, and since it's a very busy place it gets worse. Besides that everything else is great.
After starting a job in Hyannis I found that I had time to stop by this grocery store for the first time after having traveled passed it multiple times. After stopping in I have found a new favorite grocery store to purchase all if the ethic items I could only find in the Boston area. Being Portuguese and having a Latina wife, it has been hard to find the items we want to cook with without traveling off Cape. Now we know exactly where to go because this shop has a ton of Goya products as well as an amazing selection of cheeses, meats and frozen foods. It is also great that they have a bakery in the front of the store. Overall, this is a great grocery store with a minor flaw which is the parking. Besides that this place is amazing!
I love this place!! Cheap Beer, Great cheap hot rolls, and marinated meats for the grill cheap!! You generally don't find this type of quality and this price on the Cape in Summer. We own a timeshare down the street at the Cove and we are on the Cape every summer. This place caters to the local brazillian population, but the food here is great, and the prices are cheap and not inflated like many other places on the cape this time of year. That's due to who it caters too. They even sell beer cheap!! Not only that is they have a meat department that sells marinated steaks, marinated chicken breasts, and homeade sausages. We have grills on our timeshare property so we buy stuff to grill up all the time here. We don't even have to prep it!!! Just bring it home and throw it on the grill. They also have a bakery that sells 4 fist sized fresh hot rolls for $1.00 to go with our grilling extravaganza. This really is our go to place. on the CAPe when it comes to food and beer shopping..hahah. You should discover it too. I know I know.. you are not Brazilian, but give it a chance. Don't be afraid of the shredded chicken filled cone shaped fried dougballs they sell at the bakery either. They are absolutely delicious!!!
